In all the research I’ve done lately to improve my photography skills, I’ve come across several different articles that have said the hardest thing to learn is how to take good photos at night. There are many reasons for this, but basically it breaks down to low light requiring slow shutter speeds and blurred results with even the slightest camera shake. Even using a tripod doesn’t always guarantee a great night shot. A tripod coupled with a remote shutter release yields a…a…well you decide what kind of result you think it yields by viewing some images I took a few days ago at night.
